Nigerian DJ and music producer DJ Cuppy delivers a colourful summer anthem with “Jollof on the Jet,” her first official single of 2020.
The collaboration features Nigerian rising star Rema, who brings his distinctive melodic flow and youthful energy to the track, while Tanzanian artist Rayvanny adds East African rhythmic elements that perfectly complement the song’s cross-continental appeal, creating a truly pan-African musical experience.
The production seamlessly blends Afrobeats with contemporary pop sensibilities, featuring bright synthesisers, infectious percussion, and a catchy hook that references the popular West African dish. The track’s polished sound demonstrates DJ Cuppy’s growth as a producer, balancing commercial appeal with authentic African musical influences.
